Carmine is obtained by extracting Cochineal (Dactylopius Coccus Costa). It is one of the most popular natural red colors in the food and cosmetics industry, due to its ease of application, its magnificent spectrum of color shades and its excellent stability against heat and light.
This improved watersoluble powder has the exclusive characteristic to color dried mixes such as dextrines, sugar, prepared powders, with a beautiful red-pink hue, opposite to regular watersoluble carmine that when mixed with dried white powder gives a muddy/cloudy appearance.
